I know this website is about whey protein, but for those who can’t afford it might be an idea for you to give us some alternative sources of protein that are as good as whey.
Answer:
In my opinion – and that of others – there is no real equivalent of whey protein; it exceeds the gold standard of protein (whole egg) in bioavailability (how well the body can use it) and is the fastest absorbing protein, period.
Having said that, whey protein supplements are supplements, and while it makes things more convenient and certainly gives you an edge, real foods should always form the basis of any healthy diet.
